Cow Poop Won't Solve the Climate Crisis

Big agriculture and fossil fuel companies are promoting factory farm methane as renewable energy, effectively greenwashing the environmental harm caused by concentrated animal operations. This alliance mislabels toxic waste gases as clean solutions, obscuring the severe pollution and greenhouse gas emissions inherent in these industrial facilities. The practice is relevant to greenwashing as it disguises the detrimental ecological and ethical impacts of factory farming under the attractive guise of sustainability and renewable resources.
